Those seeking Arkansas certification as a mediator for the Circuit Court program, and who completed their training course outside of Arkansas, must also complete a course, “Mediator Ethics, Law and General Practice in Arkansas”. Last month, I traveled to Memphis, TX at the request of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute located there, and after receiving approval from the Arkansas ADR Commission, provided the required training on the Arkansas ethics and general practice course requirement. It was a learning experience for me and an honor to co-sign their certificates of course-work completion that will be provided to our ADR Commission.
