My goal is to daily grow in the skills of a mediator. With this in mind, I am very pleased that the University of Arkansas, School of Law is allowing me to teach two 3 hour sections in Conflict Resolution again this Fall. Working hard to upgrade the course to include more skills-based opportunities for the students. The course is intended as an overview of the multiple ways in which disputes get resolved - starting with intentional negotiation, followed by a strong emphasis on mediation. Class sessions include lectures from assigned readings, guest lecturers from wide range of ADR stake-holders and significant role-playing. The teacher continues to learn.
